Going strong!
I've had an excellent week! I've done some running, some stairs, and I've been doing a new Jillian Michaels DVD. I've also been watching what I've been eating and I can really see some differences. I think this new combination of things is working well. Even other people are noticing. On Tuesday, I walked into bible study and someone said, "Wow, each time I see you, you keep getting smaller!". And on Wednesday someone made the comment at how thin and fit I was. What?!? Me? Thin?? That could NEVER happen....and yet it did! It reminds me of when I was first losing the first big bunch. There were a lot of changes back then. I guess I've been sort of the same for so long, that these new changes are noticeable. That's wonderful! Still can't fit into Size 9 jeans, but my 11's feel great! Only problem is I can't get an accurate weight. My scale here at school has never been totally accurate and we think that the one at home is extremely off. It kept putting me around 155-156-157, consistently rising. It didn't make any sense. Besides, my clothes were getting looser. So I think we need to invest in another scale. But other than that, I'm doing well!

Welcome Back Spring!!
I awoke Saturday morning to the most beautiful day I'd seen in months! I've been missing running. All of the snow has made it difficult to say the least. So on this gorgeous "spring"day, I laced up my sneaks, and set out. I decided to challenge myself on my first day back to the outdoors. I've been doing stairs instead of running outside, so I know I've been gaining muscle strength. I decided to do a loop of about 2 miles that goes up and down 3 hills. 2 are long, slow climbs and the other is steep. I haven't ever tried this loop before...mostly because I was scared I wouldn't finish. I decided to give it my all. And I succeeded! 2.12 miles, up hills, 25 minutes. My goal by the end of the summer is to do this loop 4-5 times in a row without stopping. That will be about 10 miles. Let's do it!
